This painting isn’t necessarily about impeachment. This is about strength to do what’s right, in general. I painted these in the spirit of hope and strength. I hope we – artists included – have the opportunity to flourish as individuals without the constraints of healthcare access, prejudice and other barriers that can derail lives so suddenly and devastatingly.
